Hello Augusta Area Rotary Council,
Below is the message from Jeanette Rasche which contains the attachment of the first RAC PR Committee meeting minutes. Several of you have already received this but I am sending it to all of the RAC e group to assure that everyone receives. It appears to me that the committee is off to a good start thanks to the membes and Jeanettes initiative and leadership.
Be sure to visit the websites of the respective districts and read the newsletters which are posted. The 6920 District Conference in Augusta is shaping up nicely with Vince Dooley scheduled to speak at the opening luncheon on Friday, May 5. It would be great to have people from all three of our districts to attend this conference since it is in our backyard. The RI President's representative is from California - PDG Nick Pricola.
Please send me info on how the ME annual "bash" went as well as the WA Wild Game dinner and any other events which may be of interest. I would like to circulate info on the size of attendance, how much money you made, etc... it you don't mind sharing.
The governors are back from the governor training and the new theme has been set. Peach State PETS is upon us... one week off. That organizing committee has a group of speakers scheduled which will be second to none including past RI President Frank Devlyn. David Roper, whose leadership got the whole idea of a joint PETS rolling, has trained the trainers so that segment should be excellent also.
The Augusta Club seems to be doing well in its new meeting place.
Rotarily,
Jim Puryear, RAC E Mail News |
